Will my dishes actually fit on this?

The mat measures 62cm x 38cm (24" x 15")—large enough to hold 3-4 standard serving dishes at once. Suitable for a casserole dish, a serving bowl, and a couple of side plates. If you're hosting for more than 4 people, you might want two mats to cover everything.

Does it reheat or cook food?

No. HeatBoard is for warming, not cooking or reheating from cold. For best results, put dishes on the mat right after they come off the stove or out of the oven.

How do I clean and store it?

Unplug and allow to cool. Wipe the silicone surface with a damp cloth (no soaking). Roll it up with the detachable cord and store in a drawer or cabinet.

Will it keep food hot through the whole meal?

Yes. Place dishes on HeatBoard while they’re already hot and it maintains a steady serving temperature so mains and sides stay warm from first plate to last. Use lids or foil to hold heat and moisture.

Does it use a lot of electricity?

No. HeatBoard draws about 260–310 watts, which is 0.26–0.31 kWh per hour. Because it’s maintaining warmth (not cooking), the heater cycles on and off, so real usage is often lower. Use lids/foil and a lower setting to minimize power.
